This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 5 losses; Loki Kvakkestad! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Linkavitch Chomofsky! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

My spies in Primal inform me that Chomofsky has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Chomofsky is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kvakkestad pulls his head out easily. Kvakkestad uses his free foot to push down on Chomofsky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chomofsky. Chomofsky is squirming around, avoiding Kvakkestad's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chomofsky is trying desperately to improve position.

Kvakkestad has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chomofsky is working away from the top position though.
