Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kapitan Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hazzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazzard is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hell's Bells. Kapitan Bomba had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kapitan Bomba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Hazzard! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomba shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hazzard is trying to defend but Bomba finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bomba wants to pass the guard but Hazzard is defending well. Bomba working Hazzard over with strikes. Bomba working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hazzard is trying to get back to full guard. Hazzard has his hands clasped together around Bomba's back. He's all about the action. Bomba is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bomba is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bomba with the ground and pound but Hazzard uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hazzard trying to keep a closed guard but Bomba is proving a slippery customer.
Bomba is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hazzard had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bomba is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hazzard Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bomba's back instead. Hazzard is working the ground and pound. Can Bomba escape? Hazzard is trying to stick to Bomba's back but Bomba is turning into Hazzard. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hazzard's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bomba. Hazzard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hazzard utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hazzard is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bomba decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hazzard shoots in for a takedown but Bomba shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hazzard tries to keep at a distance but Bomba has taken the fight into the clinch. Hazzard is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bomba is defending well for now. Bomba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hazzard lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Kapitan Bomba has been cut. Bomba is breathing heavily. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hazzard throws an elbow but it misses.
Hazzard using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bomba has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A short uppercut from Bomba. Hazzard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bomba throws a leg kick that misses. A head kick lands from Hazzard that sends Bomba to the canvas. Bomba tries to scramble back to his feet but Hazzard brings him back down into side control.
Bomba is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hazzard looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bomba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hazzard has hold of Bomba's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bomba tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hazzard cranks the arm and Bomba screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bomba, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jack Hazzard!
