Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaede Kitano (ranked 4391 p4p, 3920 weight class) and Mohamed Khalid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaede Kitano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mohamed Khalid! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalid has Kitano up against the cage in a clinch.
Khalid gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Khalid looking to pass the guard. Khalid stops Kitano from standing up. Khalid trying to control the position from guard on top but Kitano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khalid won't allow Kitano to sweep him here.
Kitano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khalid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kitano trying to keep a closed guard but Khalid is proving a slippery customer.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Khalid trying to control but Kitano is working from the bottom. Kitano pulls Khalid in close to prevent any damage.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Khalid shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khalid showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khalid thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kitano's head. Kitano is pressing down on Khalid's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Khalid is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kitano is on top in guard.
Kitano trying to stand up but can't free himself from Khalid's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kitano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kitano has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khalid is proving hard to escape from.
Kitano decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khalid, up you get!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Khalid leaves Kitano with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Kitano looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Khalid is looking to clinch. Kitano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Khalid.
Kitano clinches up against the cage. Kitano wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khalid has him pressed against the cage. Khalid is trying to pull guard but Kitano turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kitano is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Khalid pulls him back up using the underhooks. Stalling in the clinch from Kitano.
Khalid lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Khalid misses with an elbow strike.

Khalid jumps guard and drags Kitano to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Khalid is looking for a triangle but Kitano pushes his legs off easily.
Khalid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kitano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kitano tries to stand but Khalid is controlling from the bottom. Kitano stays in close to Khalid's body and controls the position. Kitano wants to control from the top but Khalid keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kitano trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mohamed Khalid will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Khalid tries to clinch but Kitano is having none of it. Kitano seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kitano shoots in for a double leg but Khalid sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Khalid looking to score a takedown here. Kitano is defending well but Khalid drives through and ends up in Kitano's guard. Khalid looking to sit in guard and control but Kitano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Khalid looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kitano is one step ahead there. Kitano with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kitano thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kitano wants to pass the guard but Khalid is keeping the position. Kitano trying to control but Khalid is working from the bottom. Khalid wants to sweep but no luck. Kitano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kitano trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kitano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khalid works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kitano passes Khalid's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kitano not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Khalid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kitano is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Khalid defends it well. Khalid is not content to let Kitano control the position. Kitano stalling.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kitano slips a jab and a cross from Khalid.
Kitano throws a big counter combination but Khalid scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Khalid moves to clinch but Kitano breaks away enabling Kitano to counter with a crisp jab.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Khalid stuffs the takedown. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kitano. Khalid steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Khalid throws a body shot but no joy. Kitano misses with a head kick.
Khalid wants to clinch. Kitano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khalid pinned against the cage. Khalid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaede Kitano. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kitano manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Khalid drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kitano gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Khalid. Khalid has had enough of the clinch but Kitano keeps him there for the moment.
Khalid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khalid looks to clinch and Kitano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Khalid thinking. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khalid stuffs the takedown attempt from Kitano. Kitano gets slowly back to his feet. Kitano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khalid's waist but Khalid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kitano off to one side. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kaede Kitano dominated that second round. That's time! Kitano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Khalid wants to clinch. Some bone on bone action there as Khalid checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Khalid stuffs the takedown attempt from Kitano. Kitano gets slowly back to his feet. Khalid steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Kitano shoots in but Khalid avoids the takedown attempt easily. Khalid leaves Kitano with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaede Kitano. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Khalid wants it to stay on the feet. Khalid tries to close the distance and clinch but Kitano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Khalid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kitano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kitano half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Khalid. No joy for Kitano on that attempt. Khalid moves in looking to clinch but Kitano pushes him off. Khalid scores with a head kick. Kitano tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Khalid closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kitano's guard. Kitano controls Khalid momentarily but Khalid frees himself. Khalid throwing strikes but missing. Khalid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kitano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kitano trying to control the position.
Kitano is looking for a triangle but Khalid pushes his legs off easily.
Khalid wants to get up but he can't break Kitano's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Khalid looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Khalid loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khalid takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kitano tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kitano trying to control the position.
Kitano striking off his back but it's not causing Khalid any problems. Khalid postures up.

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Khalid shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kitano napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kitano is trying to get back to his feet.
Khalid decides to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kitano clinches up with Khalid and pushes him back against the cage. Khalid working hard to break the clinch.
Kitano has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Khalid uses from the top position. Kitano is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kitano looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khalid is one step ahead there. Kitano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khalid manages to get himself to full guard.
 The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kitano passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Mohamed Khalid comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Khalid has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
