Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Yurchon Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronaldez Reno!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurchon Jr on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A lazy left from Reno finds it's target.

Reno drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Yurchon Jr has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Reno has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Yurchon Jr has Reno pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reno manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Yurchon Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yurchon Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Reno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yurchon Jr is fending him off so far but Reno persists. Nope, Yurchon Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reno, as that shot connected.
Reno is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yurchon Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Reno changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Yurchon Jr looks to land a combination. Reno sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Ronaldez Reno has been cut.
Yurchon Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reno defends it nicely.
Yurchon Jr takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Reno throws a right and a left that Yurchon Jr avoids nicely.
Yurchon Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reno was well out of range. Poor timing from Yurchon Jr.

Yurchon Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reno.

Ronaldez Reno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reno stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reno wants it to stay on the feet.

Yurchon Jr instigates a clinch.

Yurchon Jr ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yurchon Jr no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that James Yurchon Jr will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ronaldez Reno's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nice takedown defense from Reno. No joy for Yurchon Jr on that attempt.
Yurchon Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reno sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yurchon Jr somewhat.

Reno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yurchon Jr as he jumps to the side.
It looked like Yurchon Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Yurchon Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A bone on bone clash there as Reno blocks the leg kick.

and Yurchon Jr counters with a series of strikes. Reno will be more careful next time no doubt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Reno is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Yurchon Jr to keep the fight standing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reno lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yurchon Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yurchon Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Reno might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Yurchon Jr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reno uses from the top position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Ronaldez Reno.
I think Yurchon Jr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
