Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parkinson (ranked 3810 p4p, 4357 weight class) and Benjamin Barella (ranked 416 p4p, 447 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Parkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Barella!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barella slips under a jab from Parkinson.
A clash of legs there as Parkinson blocks the low kick.
Barella swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parkinson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Parkinson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Parkinson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Barella misses with a low kick.
Parkinson lands a big right hand that sends Barella crashing to the mat! Parkinson stays standing though and waves Barella back to his feet!
It looks like Benjamin Barella has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parkinson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barella paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barella lands with a good body shot.
Parkinson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barella.
Barella tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've been told by Parkinson's head coaches at Angels Above that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Parkinson cracks Barella with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Parkinson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barella to stand back up!
Barella is rocked!
That has opened up Benjamin Barella's cut even more.
Barella takes a swing at Parkinson's ribcage but misses.
Barella is still on wobbly legs! Can Parkinson finish him?
Parkinson forces Barella back against the cage and clinches.
Parkinson unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Barella! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Parkinson is unloading with more strikes now! Barella drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Parkinson!
