Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Lagove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and liu kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lagove comes to the cage accompanied by little less conversation -Elvis JXL. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lagove closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lagove stands up and beckons kane to join him on the feet.
Lagove throws a head kick that misses.
kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
kane fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sid Lagove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lagove closes this distance looking for a takedown but kane circles away.

Lagove shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lagove throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around kane's waist but kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lagove off to one side.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
kane has gone for a leg lock! Lagove slips out almost immediately though and dives into kane's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The ground and pound from kane seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Lagove is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Lagove throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lagove rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but kane moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lagove is looking to clinch but kane is avoiding it.
Lagove tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lagove shoots in for a double leg but kane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

kane drops back looking for a leg! Lagove is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lagove manages to kick kane off! kane jumps back into Lagove's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lagove is on top in guard.

kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lagove can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
