The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khemkhaeng tries to clinch up but Pitts circles away and keeps his distance.
Pitts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pitts has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Pitts stalks Khemkhaeng and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Khemkhaeng's face. Khemkhaeng staggers backwards, shaken.
Khemkhaeng has closed the distance and engaged Pitts in a clinch.
Pitts throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Khemkhaengs head.

Khemkhaeng manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pitts manages to get himself to full guard.
Khemkhaeng drops back looking for a leg! Pitts is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pitts manages to kick Khemkhaeng off! Khemkhaeng jumps back into Pitts's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Khemkhaeng thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Khemkhaeng sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pitts's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Khemkhaeng wants to free his trapped foot but Pitts is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Khemkhaeng moves nicely into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pitts throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pitts, as that shot connected.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khemkhaeng is on top in guard.
