Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tripp Summers (ranked 1815 p4p, 2091 weight class) and Jesus Huerta (ranked 210 p4p, 238 weight class). Huerta has chosen Hotel California as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tripp Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesus Huerta! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Summers tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Huerta manages to move to mount!
Summers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Summers wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Summers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Huerta on the ground. Huerta wants to take Summers's back here but Summers is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

It looks like Huerta might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Huerta takes Summers's back.
Huerta has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Summers is defending well but eventually Huerta manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Summers has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jesus Huerta! After winning the bout, Jesus Huerta thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
