With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oskar Gudmundsson!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Gudmundsson ducks down to avoid it.
Jones throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Gudmundsson counter with a right hand.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jones with a poor takedown
and Gudmundsson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gudmundsson has time to react.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gudmundsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gudmundsson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones is rocked!
Gudmundsson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Jones falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
