And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 51 wins and 33 losses; Gul Dukat! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Dukat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Toehold (0) vs (2) Dukat Dukat performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Toehold might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Toehold gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toehold controls Dukat momentarily but Dukat frees himself. Dukat trying to control the position from guard on top but Toehold is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dukat is stalling in the full guard. Dukat wants to control from the top but Toehold keeps moving. Dukat controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dukat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like Dukat might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Dukat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toehold swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Toehold trying to keep a closed guard but Dukat is proving a slippery customer.
Dukat wants to control from the top but Toehold keeps moving. Dukat controls from within his opponent's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dukat trying to control the position from guard on top but Toehold is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. My spies in The House Of Pain inform me that Dukat has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Dukat stopping the sweep attempt from Toehold.  That's five minutes gone in the round. Dukat trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Toehold is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Toehold can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dukat controls the pace.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Dukat passes Toehold's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dukat is figuring out what he wants to do next.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Toehold wants to get back to full guard. Dukat performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dukat is continuing to stall.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Toehold is staying active underneath Dukat, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dukat trying to control the pace.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Toehold tries to roll over but Dukat keeps him under control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dukat takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Dukat is keen to just control but Toehold is a slippery customer. Toehold tries to get to full guard but Dukat has control of the leg. Toehold is trying to maintain the position but Dukat is very close to passing his half guard.
 That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Dukat trying to control the action but Toehold is working from the bottom. Toehold is looking to control Dukat's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Toehold avoid being mounted? The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Toehold is looking to improve his position.

Dukat is looking to take a break and control but Toehold is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dukat might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Toehold haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Toehold has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dukat is working away from the top position though.
