The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes lands with an uppercut that bounces Budiman off the ropes and back into range.
Nice uppercut there from Gomes.
Gomes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Budiman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gomes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
