Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23172 p4p, 23399 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 67 - 58 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 55 - 69 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga fails with a takedown attempt.

And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amiga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Amiga shoots in and bounces Salvacion off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Salvacion.

Helen Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
