Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 58 - 66 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 58 - 73 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion gets a double leg takedown into Amiga's guard.

Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amiga swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Amiga decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Salvacion, up you get!

Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Salvacion shoots for a double leg takedown but Amiga sprawls well. He's pushed Salvacion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Amiga counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Salvacion is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt - Amiga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Agbay Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
Amiga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Amiga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Amiga is looking to stand up but Salvacion won't let him.

Agbay Amiga dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Amiga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.
Amiga was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Amiga has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salvacion is proving hard to escape from.

Amiga controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Amiga wants to get up but he can't break Salvacion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Salvacion is adopting a defensive guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Salvacion looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amiga is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Amiga drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Amiga controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Salvacion has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage.
Amiga is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Salvacion feints and as Amiga raises his hands in defense, Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Amiga turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Amiga manages to end up in side control.

Salvacion is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Amiga's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Amiga's back!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Agbay Amiga.
Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
