Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 142 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 137 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mmm doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Xxx counters with a good, hard body kick but Mmm shrugs it off.
Xxx looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xxx shoots for a double leg takedown but Mmm sprawls well. He's pushed Xxx's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mmm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Xxx sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mmm somewhat.

Xxx shoots in and drives through. Mmm sprawls well.
Mmm jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Xxx follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Xxx accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Xxx shoots in and bounces Mmm off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mmm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mmm is pulling down on Xxx's head. It's preventing any offense from Xxx, at least for the moment.

Well Xxx has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
