Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edmond Dantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Taekn Arrms!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes throws out a loose jab but Arrms uses good head movement to avoid it.
Arrms throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dantes on the side of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Arrms has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Arrms scores with a jab.
Arrms lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dantes throws a sloppy head kick
and Arrms counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Arrms is looking to advance position but Dantes won't allow it.

Arrms is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dantes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dantes shrugs it off.

and Dantes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Arrms is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Arrms tries for a takedown but Dantes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Arrms clobbers Dantes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Taekn Arrms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arrms fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dantes manages to avoid it.

Taekn Arrms showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Arrms is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dantes is refusing to be controlled, as Arrms sits in half guard.

Taekn Arrms comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Arrms has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Taekn Arrms spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
