Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Rocha (ranked 1939 p4p, 3112 weight class) and Tahuso Norrez (ranked 144 p4p, 198 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jorge Rocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tahuso Norrez! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Norrez does it's job there. Norrez misses with a body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Norrez scores with a head kick. Rocha tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Norrez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rocha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A kick lands to the mid section there for Norrez. Norrez throws a chopping leg kick but Rocha manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Norrez throws a head kick that misses. We've been hearing reports that Rocha has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Norrez misses with a left hand and Rocha counters with an outside leg kick.
Norrez scores with a jab to the head.
Norrez throws a shot from downtown. Rocha moves away and avoids it. Rocha on the wrong end of a nice hook. Norrez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Norrez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rocha on the side of the head.
Rocha shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rocha was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rocha tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Norrez gets back to half guard. Norrez wants to get back to full guard.
Rocha seems to be looking for submissions.
Rocha is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Norrez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rocha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rocha seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rocha trying to control the position from guard on top but Norrez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rocha drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Norrez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rocha has Norrez in his guard.
Norrez stands up over Rocha, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rocha keeping moving, preventing Norrez from controlling successfully.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Norrez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Norrez postures up and lands a big shot to Rocha's brow. Rocha has momentary wrist control but Norrez slips an elbow through the middle. Rocha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Norrez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Rocha looking for a guillotine here but Norrez defends easily.
Norrez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Norrez cracks Rocha with a solid left hand. Rocha wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Norrez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Norrez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rocha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Norrez has managed to get both his arms back between Rocha's legs - danger averted. Rocha preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Norrez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Norrez trying to control the position from guard on top but Rocha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norrez landing some decent shots from guard. Rocha working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Norrez. Norrez distracts Rocha with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Norrez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rocha swivels though and keeps the full guard. Norrez works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tahuso Norrez dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A solid body kick from Norrez. Rocha tries a head kick but it misses.
And Norrez tries to counter it with a takedown but Rocha pushes his down on his head and steps out. Norrez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rochas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Norrez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rocha to the ground. Norrez is now in Rocha's guard. Norrez trying to control the position from guard on top but Rocha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norrez distracts Rocha with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rocha keeping moving, preventing Norrez from controlling successfully. Norrez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norrez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Norrez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rocha to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Norrez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rocha pulls down on the head and he's put Norrez to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jorge Rocha! Jorge Rocha was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
