The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ngata counters with a left to the body.

Ngata wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

and Ngata counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Blackwood wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ngata is now in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackwood throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ngata escapes and throws Blackwood's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Blackwood is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ngata's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Ngata! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Blackwood has tapped! This one is allllll over!
