Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Lynch (ranked 3905 p4p, 25130 weight class) and Wayne Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oswaldo Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wayne Martin!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Martin has eaten all the pies!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Martin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lynch just stands there and leans against the cage.
Martin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lynch has him pressed against the cage.

Lynch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Lynch.
Martin shoots for a double leg takedown but Lynch sprawls well. He's pushed Martin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lynch shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martin is trying to defend but Lynch finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lynch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lynch wants to sweep but no luck.
Martin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lynch trying to keep a closed guard but Martin is proving a slippery customer.

Lynch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Oswaldo Lynch will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Martin closes the distance and clinches.
Lynch can't get the takedown.
Lynch is working for takedown but Martin is calmly controlling the position for now.

Lynch is looking to control Martin's arms but Martin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lynch has his back to the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lynch - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Martin gets through Lynch's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lynch has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Martin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Martin is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

And Martin tries to counter it with a takedown but Lynch pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Wayne Martin seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Martin has Lynch pushed against the cage.
Lynch is pressed up against the cage. Martin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lynch down to the mat. Lynch avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Martin looks to land a body kick but Lynch moved away.
As Martin looks to move away, Lynch throws a big counter combo but Martin just gets out of the way.

Martin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Martin darts in looking for a takedown but Lynch gets double underhooks and turns Martin into the cage.

Wayne Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Martin gets control of Lynch's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lynch throws an elbow that misses. Martin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lynch's guard. Nice move by Martin!

Martin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Martin is pushing down on Lynch's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lynch is fighting to maintain full guard but Martin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lynch wants to improve his position but Martin is controlling well.

Lynch is trying to maintain the position but Martin is very close to passing his half guard.
Martin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lynch is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Martin jumps into side control!
Lynch is looking to regain half guard here but Martin keeps moving and retains side control.
Martin controls the position from side control.
Martin has knee on belly and moves into mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lynch sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lynch trying to get back to full guard but Martin takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Martin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lynch has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lynch!

Martin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lynch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lynch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I think Martin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
