Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Habibi Barishnikov (ranked 24636 p4p, 3513 weight class) and Konnor Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Habibi Barishnikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Konnor Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barishnikov pushes Gordon away with a front kick.
Barishnikov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gordon's waist but Gordon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barishnikov off to one side.
Barishnikov lands with a cross.
Barishnikov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gordon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Habibi Barishnikov has been cut.
Barishnikov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gordon defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Habibi Barishnikov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barishnikov blocks a head kick by Gordon.
It looked like Barishnikov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Barishnikov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barishnikov gets slowly back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barishnikov. Gordon does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barishnikov is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gordon has cracked Barishnikov with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gordon lands another huge swinging hook and Barishnikov tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Barishnikov, before Gordon can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Konnor Gordon!
