Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Otso Toivonen (ranked 1844 p4p, 5259 weight class) and Melvin Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otso Toivonen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Otso Toivonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Melvin Diaz! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toivonen has managed to clinch.
Toivonen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Diaz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Toivonen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Toivonen stalls. Diaz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Toivonen pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Toivonen to keep the fight standing. Otso Toivonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Diaz. Nice body punch from Toivonen. Diaz wants to get back to striking at distance but Toivonen won't allow it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Toivonen to keep the fight standing. Diaz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Toivonen smiles and moves away.
Toivonen moves into range and clinches up with Diaz. Diaz tries to pull guard but Toivonen holds him up against the cage and eventually Diaz drops back down to his feet.
Toivonen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Toivonen as he jumps to the side.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Toivonen. Diaz tries to clinch but Toivonen moves away and Toivonen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 It looks like Melvin Diaz has been cut. A chopping leg kick lands by Toivonen. Diaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Toivonen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 Diaz is rocked! Toivonen lands with a good body shot. Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Toivonen finish him?
Toivonen cracks Diaz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Toivonen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Diaz to stand back up! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No luck with that takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz wants to clinch but Toivonen slips to the side and Toivonen counters with a lovely shot to the body. Diaz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz has his takedown stuffed and Toivonen counters with a crisp right that sends Diaz to the canvas! Toivonen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otso Toivonen! Otso Toivonen seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
