Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Texcoco (ranked 5215 p4p, 5350 weight class) and Dane Blevins (ranked 495 p4p, 505 weight class). Miguel Texcoco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Texcoco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dane Blevins! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Texcoco throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blevins counters with a three punch combo that has Texcoco backing up. Texcoco nods at Blevins to acknowledge the strikes. Blevins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Blevins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Texcoco throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Blevins looks like he wants to counter punch here. Texcoco falls off balance throwing a combination
and Blevins counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Blevins takes a head kick and keeps coming.
 It looks like Dane Blevins has been cut. Texcoco takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Blevins scores with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blevins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Texcoco sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blevins somewhat. Texcoco lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A combination from Blevins does no damage. Texcoco takes one to the side of the head.

Blevins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Texcoco tries to kick Blevins off in order to stand up. Blevins Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Blevins slows the pace down. Texcoco is pushing Blevins's head away, looking to escape. Blevins manages to hold on to the position though. You can see the frustration on Texcoco's face as Blevins controls the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Texcoco is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Blevins slows the pace down.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevins's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Texcoco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Texcoco tries to get out of the position. Texcoco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Blevins asserts his dominance and retains side control.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Texcoco throws a body shot but no joy. Nice body punch from Texcoco. Blevins dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Blevins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Texcoco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blevins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Blevins lands a jab to the nose. Texcoco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Texcoco throws a sloppy head kick and Blevins moves out of range easily. Blevins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Blevins wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Blevins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blevins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Texcoco is breathing heavily. Blevins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Texcoco closes the distance and lands a one-two. Blevins scores with a body shot.
Blevins is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Texcoco rather than just go for the knockout. Blevins cracks a nice hook into Texcoco's ribs. Texcoco walks into a stiff left hand from Blevins. Blevins blocks a head kick by Texcoco.

Blevins is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Texcoco had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Blevins lands a slapping body shot.
Blevins lands with a good body shot. Blevins throws a good cross that connects.

Blevins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blevins misses with a wild body shot. Texcoco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miguel Texcoco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Texcoco throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Texcoco connects with a high kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Texcoco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Texcoco takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oooooh!!! Blevins has knocked Texcoco down with a huge combo! Blevins steps away and waves a wobbly Texcoco back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
 Texcoco is rocked! Texcoco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Texcoco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blevins cracks Texcoco with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Texcoco tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Blevins pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Texcoco is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dane Blevins!
