Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azeve fails with an attempt to clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nogueira thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Azeve fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nogueira avoids it really well and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Azeve counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nogueira's guard now.

Azeve had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nogueira is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Azeve Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nogueira's back instead.

Azeve shoots in for a double leg but Nogueira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Azeve is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nogueira defends it well.
Nogueira is not content to let Azeve control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Azeve is trying to control the action in half guard but Nogueira is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Azeve is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nogueira is looking to improve his position.

I think Nogueira has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
