Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seb Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Walkerton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Tribe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walkerton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walkerton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walkerton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silva is trying to control the position but Walkerton postures up.
Walkerton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walkerton has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
Silva looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Walkerton passes into side control.

Walkerton has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Silva is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Walkerton yanks on the arm and Silva is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Walkerton.
