Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuujiro Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whole Nutz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma misses the shot to the body.
Hanma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nutz manages to avoid it.
Nutz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hanma avoids it really well and circles away.
Hanma throws a hook but Nutz avoids it easily.
Hanma misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nutz.
Hanma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nutz wants to clinch
and Hanma counters with a nice uppercut.
Hanma takes a swing at Nutz's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Nutz.
It looked like Hanma was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nutz.
Nutz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hanma sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hanma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nutz moves away.
Nutz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yuujiro Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Whole Nutz.

Hanma connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nutz. Nutz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nutz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hanma fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nutz drives through and clinches with Hanma against the cage.

Nutz has hold of one of Hanma's legs. Hanma is fighting the takedown attempt but Nutz gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Hanma pulls Nutz in close to his closed guard and prevents Nutz from doing any damage or advancing position.

Nutz looking to sit in guard and control but Hanma gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hanma wants to pass the guard but Nutz is keeping the position.
Hanma connects with a couple of short punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hanma connects with a nice short shot to Nutz's temple.
Hanma is looking to take a break and control but Nutz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nutz is trying to get back to full guard.
Hanma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Nutz wants to control but Hanma is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Hanma is keen to just control but Nutz is a slippery customer.

Hanma is nestled in close to Nutz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hanma lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Nutz shoots in for a double leg but Hanma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Nutz has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hanma is on him like a limpet, forcing Nutz back against the cage.

Hanma tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nutz's elbow.
Nutz is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Nutz has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hanma clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Nutz is cranking Hanma's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hanma! He's tightened the choke and Hanma is tapping out!
