The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Gu both land. Nice combination.
Gu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kamolov avoids it really well and circles away.
Kamolov misses with an uppercut
letting Gu counter with a right hand.
Kamolov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gu gets a double leg takedown into Kamolov's guard.
Gu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gu's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kamolov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gu rolls with it to try and escape but Kamolov cranks on the arm and Gu is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Bakir Kamolov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
