Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Usaa Mera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santos Mccall!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccall clinches up against the cage.
Mera fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Still in the clinch, Mccall scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mccall cracks Mera with a nice body shot.
Mera ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mera no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mera wants to sweep but no luck.
Mccall looking to sit in guard and control but Mera gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mera stands up and waves to Mccall to follow him.
Usaa Mera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mera fails with a takedown attempt.
Mccall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mccall ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mccall rushes Mera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mccall digs a right hand into Mera's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mera's gas tank.

Mera tries to pull guard but Mccall won't allow it.
Mccall lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mccall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mera backwards.
Mccall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mccall plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Mera swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Mera face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
