Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Nejc (ranked 1661 p4p, 22073 weight class) and Karter Carey (ranked 202 p4p, 542 weight class). Carey has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Karter Carey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Nejc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karter Carey!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carey tries for a takedown but Nejc circles away easily
and Nejc counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Karter Carey has been cut.
Nejc fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Carey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carey looks winded!
Nejc bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nejc tests Carey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Carey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nejc comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nejc throws a monster overhand right that drops Carey! Nejc follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Martin Nejc decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
