The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Nicholas - just one landing.
Randriamaholison uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nicholas.
Nicholas throws the left hand but Randriamaholison avoids the punch easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Randriamaholison! But no joy.
Nice defenses there by Randriamaholison.
Randriamaholison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nicholas.
Nicholas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nicholas throws a nice looking combination but Randriamaholison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nicholas lands a jab to Randriamaholison's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nicholas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nicholas thuds his right hand into Randriamaholison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Randriamaholison throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Randriamaholison counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nicholas! Randriamaholison lets Nicholas back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Franz Nicholas has been cut.

Randriamaholison slips a jab and a cross from Nicholas.
It seemed like Randriamaholison was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nicholas leaves his chin hanging out and Randriamaholison seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nicholas crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
