The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Bommel throws a front kick aimed at Saunders's knee but Saunders avoids it well.
Van Bommel wants to clinch up but Saunders keeps it at a distance.
Van Bommel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Saunders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Van Bommel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
