Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa has chosen Gonna Fly Now as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Balboa ! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails to land the takedown. Balboa closes the distance and clinches. Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Balboa which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva shoots for a takedown but Balboa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva shoots in but Balboa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Balboa trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Balboa is trying to hold Silva in close to prevent damage but Silva has managed to pass into half guard.
Balboa keeping hold of Silva's head, controlling as best he can. Silva wants to control but Balboa is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balboa is looking for a triangle here but Silva uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
What's Balboa going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is working to tighten is grip on Balboa 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Balboa has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silva is really squeezing tight and eventually Balboa passes out! Silva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Mike Silva!
