And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naruesorn Chaiyachue!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaiyachue throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chaiyachue clinches up with Hall and pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Chaiyachue's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Chaiyachue throws a punch but it's blocked by Hall.
Hall pulls guard effortlessly.
Chaiyachue trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chaiyachue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chaiyachue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hall lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Chaiyachue wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Chaiyachue is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Hall has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Chaiyachue taps out instantly and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Richard Hall!

In defeat, Naruesorn Chaiyachue stepped up to the mic, saying 'I wanna thank the fans who watch our fight today, I didn't get the win today but I will be back stronger on my next fight.'.
