Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Ole Dick Twist (ranked 4172 p4p, 3895 weight class) and Curtis Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 377 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Ole Dick Twist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Curtis Shannon!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick Twist swings for the body but Shannon moves out of range.
Dick Twist stuns Shannon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dick Twist. Shannon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Shannon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dick Twist.
Shannon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shannon is looking to advance position but Dick Twist won't allow it.
Shannon passes to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick Twist is trying to escape the position but Shannon is controlling the position.
Dick Twist is trying to work for a sweep but Shannon has mounted him!

Shannon has control of Dick Twist's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dick Twist regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Will Shannon go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Shannon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dick Twist has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Dick Twist is trying to roll into a better position but Shannon has get a rear naked choke and Dick Twist is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
