Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Shappens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rodolfo Mcclain! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Mcclain looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shappens attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Shappens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shappens looks to throw a body kick and Mcclain counters with a nice leg kick. Mcclain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcclain wants it to stay on the feet. Mcclain is looking to clinch but Shappens is avoiding it.
Shappens misses with a two punch combination.
Mcclain tries a quick counter leg kick but Shappens is wise to it. Shappens finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mcclain wants to counter with a clinch but Shappens pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shappens drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Shappens pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcclain is keeping the position for now.
Mcclain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Shappens is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mcclain has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shappens is looking to defend but Mcclain has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shappens! Mcclain pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shappens taps out and this one is all over!
