Hanma darts in and clinches Shart up against the ropes.

Shart slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Shart wants to pass the guard but Hanma is keeping the position.
Hanma isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Shart stacks Hanma on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Shart! Score +3 for passing guard: Hanma (0) vs (5) Shart

Shart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Shart is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hanma to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hanma shrugs it off.

Hanma tries to hold on but Shart postures up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hanma tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Shart looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hanma wants to control but Shart is having none of it.
Hanma defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Shart.
Shart goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hanma is on top in guard.

Hanma drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shart looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shart looks to have wriggled free... Hanma is not content to let Shart control the position.

Shart is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hanma's shoulder. That is not cool.

Shart tries to advance to mount but can't.
We've been informed that Shart has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hanma wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Shart has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Hanma's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Hanma is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Shart!
