Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brayden Smith (ranked 1800 p4p, 5072 weight class) and Marlon Morales (ranked 224 p4p, 491 weight class). Smith's entrance music is Thick of it. A fine choice. Brayden Smith looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morales as he avoids it easily.
Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Morales really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morales swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Morales has him pressed against the cage.
Morales jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Morales will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Morales is trying to control the position but Smith postures up.
