And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Dram Macallan! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.

Koks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Macallan was covering up waiting for the punch and Koks finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Koks (2) vs (0) Macallan Koks trying to control but Macallan is working from the bottom.
Macallan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Koks wants to control from the top but Macallan keeps moving. Koks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Macallan keeping moving, preventing Koks from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Koks is looking to take a break and control but Macallan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Macallan is being controlled here. Macallan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Koks passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Macallan! Score +2 for reaching mount: Koks (7) vs (0) Macallan Macallan stops Koks from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Macallan is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Koks trying to control but Macallan is having none of it. Macallan tries to reverse the position but Koks maintains control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Koks manages to capitalize on a mistake by Macallan to take his back! Score +3 for taking back: Koks (10) vs (0) Macallan You can see the frustration on Macallan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Macallan keeps trying to improve his position. Koks wants to control but Macallan is keeping busy. Koks has the hooks in. Macallan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Koks sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Macallan taps out!
