Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylwester Goryl (ranked 1342 p4p, 2878 weight class) and Salvador Orivarez (ranked 166 p4p, 328 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Goryl might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dziwki Dragi Lasery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Salvador Orivarez!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orivarez wants to clinch.
Goryl throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Orivarez's head.
It looks like Salvador Orivarez has been cut.
Goryl cracks Orivarez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Orivarez drives through with a takedown into guard.
Goryl pushes Orivarez off and scrambles back to his feet.
Goryl throws a head kick but Orivarez moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orivarez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Orivarez shoots in looking for a takedown but Goryl manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Orivarez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Orivarez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goryl sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orivarez somewhat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orivarez is looking to take a break and control but Goryl is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've been informed that Orivarez has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Orivarez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Goryl gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Sylwester Goryl will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Salvador Orivarez's cut.

Orivarez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Orivarez closes the distance and clinches up with Goryl, looking for a takedown. Orivarez pushes Goryl against the cage but Goryl circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
