The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngando shoots in for a double leg but Calloway sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Calloway moves in looking to clinch but Ngando pushes him off.
Calloway shoots in and gets a takedown into Ngando's guard.
Ngando is looking to stand back up but Calloway counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ngando.

Calloway works his way into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Calloway is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ngando is trying to escape and Calloway transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ngando is forced to tap! Nice work there by Calloway! Very nice indeed!
