Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brody Gibson (ranked 971 p4p, 962 weight class) and Clint Westshade (ranked 89 p4p, 88 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brody Gibson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clint Westshade!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gibson tightens his grip and picks Westshade up, before dumping him to the ground. Westshade manages to land in guard.
Westshade seems keen to control Gibson's posture.
Gibson wants to pass the guard but Westshade is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Westshade felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

I wouldn't like to be where Westshade is right now.
Gibson tries to score with some ground and pound. Westshade controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Westshade is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gibson off and has taken his back!

You can see the frustration on Gibson's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Westshade feints and then cracks Gibson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gibson down.

Gibson throws a strike but Westshade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gibson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Westshade throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gibson's body to avoid the submission. Gibson has instead reached around Westshade's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gibson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Brody Gibson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
