Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niko Bellic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edvin Wasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cock sparrer - Take 'em all kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Niko Bellic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edvin Wasa! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Wasa.
It looks like Niko Bellic has been cut. Bellic throws a nice looking combination but Wasa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bellic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wasa tries to avoid it but Bellic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wasa to the ground. Wasa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wasa throws a left that rocks Bellic and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Wasa dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Bellic regain composure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wasa decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wasa cracks Bellic with an uppercut from hell and Bellic crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Wasa's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Wasa pulls guard effortlessly. Wasa wants to sweep here but Bellic controlling him for the moment. Wasa has Bellic pulled in close to control his posture.

Wasa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wasa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wasa with a body punch. A glancing blow. Wasa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bellic's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bellic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bellic throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Wasa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bellic's shoulder. That is not cool. Edvin Wasa has got the better of the ground game so far.

Wasa has his foot on Bellic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bellic works his way back into a safe position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bellic tries to free his leg and advance position but Wasa is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wasa is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Edvin Wasa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wasa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
