Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suga Diabeetus (ranked 1112 p4p, 1077 weight class) and Horus Hekkala (ranked 132 p4p, 128 weight class). Suga Diabeetus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suga Diabeetus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horus Hekkala! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hekkala swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hekkala lands the left hand. Diabeetus swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hekkala.
 It looks like Horus Hekkala has been cut. Hekkala with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diabeetus to score with a decent uppercut.
 Hekkala is rocked! Hekkala thows a body kick. Diabeetus tries to catch it but that hurt him. Diabeetus missing with a left hand there. Hekkala was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A little jabbing left from Hekkala on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hekkala missing with a left hand there. Diabeetus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Suga Diabeetus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hekkala rushes Diabeetus and presses him up against the cage. Diabeetus blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hekkala jumps into guard, dragging Diabeetus to the mat.
Hekkala is looking for a triangle but Diabeetus pushes his legs off easily.
Hekkala has his foot on Diabeetus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diabeetus works his way back into a safe position though. Hekkala has a closed guard, preventing Diabeetus from standing up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Hekkala bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diabeetus's guard.
Hekkala content to stall in guard here. Hekkala stands and throws Diabeetus's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hekkala wants to take a breather but Diabeetus manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hekkala. Diabeetus being controlled here, momentarily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hekkala is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diabeetus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diabeetus has escaped and now he's on top!
Diabeetus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hekkala is proving hard to escape from.
Hekkala had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diabeetus defends it easily.
Diabeetus stands and steps away. Hekkala gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Hekkala misses the target. Hekkala throws a poor cross that misses
and Diabeetus counters with a stiff right hand. Hekkala lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Diabeetus throws the left hand but Hekkala avoids the punch easily.
Diabeetus cracks Hekkala with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Diabeetus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hekkala to stand back up! Hekkala is still on wobbly legs! Can Diabeetus finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hekkala tries a head kick but it misses.
Hekkala uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diabeetus. Diabeetus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Hekkala misses the target.
Diabeetus gets tackled into the cage by Hekkala. Hekkala maintains the clinch. Diabeetus lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Hekkala to his knees! Diabeetus keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Suga Diabeetus! Our winner, Suga Diabeetus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
