Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaven Murphy (ranked 226 p4p, 890 weight class) and Hermio Junior (ranked 33 p4p, 127 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaven Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermio Junior!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior goes for a double leg but Murphy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Murphy continues to drive forward.
Murphy seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A big right from Murphy misses.
Junior tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Junior fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Murphy sprawls well initially but Junior persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Murphy kicks off Junior and gets to his feet.
Junior misses with a takedown attempt - Murphy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Murphy is looking to counter the offense by Junior and move into the clinch.

Murphy lands a hook that snaps the head of Junior backwards.
Junior trying to control the position but instead, Murphy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Junior into the cage.
Junior jumps guard but Murphy stands there with Junior around his waist. Junior gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murphy is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Murphy lands a vicious elbow to the side of Junior's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Murphy tries to finish him with strikes but Junior still seems able to defend himself so Murphy steps back and lets Junior get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Junior is rocked!
It looks like Hermio Junior has been cut.
Murphy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Junior, pushing him back against the cage.
Junior is still on wobbly legs! Can Murphy finish him?

Murphy lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Junior to his knees! Murphy keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

After the fight, Kaven Murphy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
