The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Potters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freeman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Freeman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Potters defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Potters stands and throws Freeman's legs to the side, diving into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Freeman (4) vs (10) Potters Freeman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Freeman is letting Potters control him for a moment. Freeman is looking for a sweep. Freeman is not content to let Potters control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
