The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Kvakkestad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kvakkestad shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Brown (0) vs (2) Kvakkestad
Kvakkestad is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kvakkestad trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kvakkestad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brown wants to sweep here but Kvakkestad controlling him for the moment.
Kvakkestad tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard.

Brown looking for a triangle here. Kvakkestad is fighting it but it looks tight! Brown pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kvakkestad is tapping out - this one is all over!
