Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CD works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. CD scores with a leg kick.
Mccaughan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mccaughan blocks a low kick nicely. Mccaughan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before CD can pounce on him.
Mccaughan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This has been an exciting period of action! CD throws a head kick that misses. Mccaughan avoids the body shot from CD.
CD moves into the clinch. Mccaughan blocks the elbow strike.
Mccaughan takes an elbow to the temple. CD tries to break the clinch but Mccaughan is controlling the position. Mccaughan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as CD walks away with a smile on his face. Mccaughan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. CD fails with an attempt to clinch.
CD has closed the distance and engaged Mccaughan in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. CD wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. CD breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mccaughan moves out of range of the body kick from CD.

Mccaughan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from CD. CD wants to slow Mccaughan down by chopping away at his legs. CD misses with a few strikes there.
Noah CD seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mccaughan shoots in looking for a takedown. CD tries to sprawl out of it but Mccaughan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. CD manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. CD turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. CD tries to close the distance and clinch but Mccaughan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CD misses with a low kick. CD fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mccaughan, pushing him back against the cage. CD lands a body shot. Mccaughan using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
CD gets underhooks to prevent Mccaughan's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Mccaughan. That's going to take a lot out of him. CD tries to land a knee to the head but Mccaughan blocks with his arms.
Mccaughan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. CD fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan misses with a takedown attempt - CD sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. CD lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. CD connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Noah CD is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mccaughan blocks the body kick.
CD cracks the inside of Mccaughan's front leg. Mccaughan is breathing heavily. CD tries to land a front kick but Mccaughan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. CD wants to clinch up but Mccaughan keeps it at a distance. CD lands with a kick to the temple. Mccaughan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! CD pulls out of a head kick attempt.
CD clinches up with Mccaughan and pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. CD with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Mccaughan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. CD just stands there and leans against the cage. Mccaughan wants a takedown but no success here.
CD breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
CD throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mccaughan. CD looks to score with a jab to the body but Mccaughan is just out of range. Mccaughan takes one to the side of the head.
Mccaughan checks a low kick from CD. A combination from CD does no damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mccaughan blocks a low kick nicely. Mccaughan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by CD.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noah CD dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mccaughan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. CD loads up on a big right hand but Mccaughan slips the punch. CD tries a low kick but Mccaughan avoids it. Mccaughan moves out of range of the body kick. Noah CD seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mccaughan clinches up against the cage. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mccaughan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Mccaughan has CD pressed against the cage, preventing CD from circling away and getting back to striking at range. CD breaks from the clinch.
Mccaughan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has CD pinned against the cage. CD gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mccaughan has taken the fight to the clinch.

CD has had enough of the clinch but Mccaughan keeps him there for the moment. CD tries to break the clinch but Mccaughan is controlling the position. CD is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CD throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mccaughan blocks it with crossed arms. A frustrated look appears on CD's face as he tries to break the clinch. CD is trying to force a seperation but Mccaughan has the dominant position. CD dodges an elbow strike from Mccaughan.
CD is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mccaughan is defending well for now. Mccaughan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite CD's efforts to push away. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for CD. Mccaughan has CD pressed against the cage, preventing CD from circling away and getting back to striking at range. CD wants to get back to striking at distance but Mccaughan won't allow it.

Eric Mccaughan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. CD throws a chopping leg kick but Mccaughan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. CD fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mccaughan is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. CD pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mccaughan is out of range and CD settles back down. CD throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. CD is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mccaughan. Mccaughan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mccaughan checks a leg kick. CD darts in trying to clinch and Mccaughan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mccaughan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed CD's head. CD pushes Mccaughan off looking to stand but Mccaughan dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan seems to be working for a kimura but CD defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mccaughan seems to be working for a kimura but CD defends the submission attempt. Mccaughan throwing shots but CD is blocking nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. CD regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mccaughan. CD looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mccaughan is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Mccaughan dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mccaughan shoots in for a double leg but CD sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mccaughan avoids the head kick by CD.
CD misses with a leg kick and Mccaughan counters with a shoot takedown. CD fights it but they end up in guard. Mccaughan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mccaughan content to stall in guard here. Mccaughan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. CD swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccaughan has gone for a leg lock! CD slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mccaughan's guard. CD decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. CD misses with a low kick. CD gets off balance looking for a body kick and Mccaughan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for CD! CD is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Mccaughan throws some wild stikes that CD manages to avoid easily.
Mccaughan lands a heavy elbow. Mccaughan looking to control but CD is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. CD can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. CD takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mccaughan lands a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mccaughan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mccaughan controlling from the full mount. CD tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mccaughan throws a sloppy strike and CD uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and CD has ended up in Mccaughan's guard.
Mccaughan controls CD momentarily but CD frees himself. Mccaughan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan has a closed guard, preventing CD from standing up. Mccaughan keeping moving, preventing CD from controlling successfully. Mccaughan tries to land a sweep but no joy. CD wants to get up but he can't break Mccaughan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Mccaughan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mccaughan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
