The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Man duly obliges.
Man scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Man fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Man scores with a three punch combo!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Man - that will leave a mark!
Mario Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hubbard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hubbard shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Man but Man pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hubbard tries a head kick but it misses.
Man lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
We've been hearing reports that Hubbard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Man is looking to clinch but Hubbard is avoiding it.
Man throws a nice looking combination but Hubbard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hubbard throws a sloppy head kick
and Man counters with a series of strikes. Hubbard will be more careful next time no doubt.
Man lands a brutal head kick. Hubbard looks out on his feet and Man throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
