The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Bautista. No joy for Legend on that attempt.
Legend throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bautista was covering up waiting for the punch and Legend finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bautista working for a triangle but Legend defends it easily.
Legend slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bautista escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Legend gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bautista knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Legend on the ground.

It looks like Legend might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bautista is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Legend can't fight it off and eventually Bautista manages to take the fight to the floor. Legend looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
