Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Devin Cordova (ranked 3845 p4p, 2588 weight class) and Jonah Morah (ranked 309 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devin Cordova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonah Morah!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cordova as Morah shoots in.
Devin Cordova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cordova misses with a few strikes there.
Cordova scores with a jab. Morah acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Cordova fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cordova takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Morah counters with a single leg into guard. Cordova didn't expect that.

Cordova will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cordova escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morah gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cordova is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morah defends well.

Cordova wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cordova has momentary wrist control but Morah slips an elbow through the middle.

Cordova connects with a right hand. Morah shakes it off.

Morah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cordova.

Morah takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cordova fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cordova is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Morah throws a nice looking combination but Cordova bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Morah moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Jonah Morah has been cut.
Cordova pounces like a tiger and cracks Morah with a vicious hook! Morah is down but not out! Cordova follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Devin Cordova!
After the fight, Devin Cordova was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
