Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5508 p4p, 5481 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 138 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 147 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt and Fighter A counters with a right hand to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter B shoots in for a double leg but Fighter A sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fighter B closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter B lands in his opponent's guard. Fighter B throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter B throws an elbow that misses. Fighter A uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter B's guard. Nice move by Fighter A!
Fighter A controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter B not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B striking off his back but it's not causing Fighter A any problems. Fighter B is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to prevent any damage.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fighter A doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Fighter B closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter A, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes Fighter A against the cage but Fighter A circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fighter B gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fighter B managing to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fighter A throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fighter B was covering up waiting for the punch and Fighter A finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fighter B trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A advances position into side control! Fighter A controlling from side mount. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Fighter B is trying to control Fighter A's posture but Fighter A avoids it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter B being controlled for a moment. Fighter A working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A taking a breather here. Fighter B is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fighter A content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. No luck for Fighter B with that takedown attempt. Fighter A is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter B napping and manages to drive through into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B is being controlled here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter A fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fighter B shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter A defends it nicely. Fighter A went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter B closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fighter A quickly recovers to half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is trying is best to control the position here. Fighter A keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fighter A is trying is best to control the position here. Fighter B not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fighter B thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is holding on to half guard well.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Fighter B stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter B moves out of range easily. Fighter B tries a quick counter leg kick but Fighter A is wise to it. Fighter B doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fighter A counters with a nice kick to the body. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
