Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thiago Castro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Vaughan!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws the left hand but Vaughan avoids the punch easily.
Castro shoots in for a double leg but Vaughan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vaughan wants to clinch.

Castro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Castro will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Castro has momentary wrist control but Vaughan slips an elbow through the middle.
Castro wants to sweep here but Vaughan controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castro isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vaughan stacks Castro on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vaughan!

Vaughan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Castro wants to control but Vaughan postures up.
Castro tries to improve position but can't.
Castro tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Vaughan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Castro manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Vaughan wants to take a breather but Castro is having none of it.
Castro looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Vaughan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vaughan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vaughan drops an elbow to the side of Castro's head.

Castro tries to roll over but Vaughan keeps him under control.

Castro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vaughan pulls his head out easily.
